over the river and through the woods: our weekend jaunt
this past weekend we took a quick trip to my parents' house. we drove down one day and back the next morning. it was worth it! it was so fun to see my parents (on their 52nd wedding anniversary.) hubby and i also snuck in a trip to ikea to buy this in bright yellow.

i was trying to figure out how to write on photos, so i ended up googling it and found that you can do it on adobe photoshop and other similar programs. then i also found that through adobe you can get a free 30 day trial of a lot of their software, including photoshop. so that's what i did! and i'm loving it so far! i thought that iphoto had everything that i needed, but now that i'm getting a little more into photos/blogging, i really like photoshop.
